Thoughts on Basic assessment

I got nervous and heavily underperformed, so please ignore my -2 SD embarrassment of a score (113, normally 145+)
Test is a strange combination of too quick and too sludgey. Every subtest requires you check 8+ boxes (?) and complete example questions, even if you’ve already taken that subtest before. The time limits do not give leeway at all for uneven cognitive profiles with poor reaction times, who might be able to complete the work with more time allotted.
On specifics, the verbal test has extreme differences of difficulty from question to question. It jumps from two words I’ve never even seen before to defining “jest”. The spatial is more adequately levelled, though, and “STOVES” is interesting. I’ve never seen that before on a test.
Basically, whatever the merits of the $100 version, the free test is awful and unhelpful, and should be renamed to “demo” rather than pretending to be a substitute for the ostensibly more rigorous and planned test. It’s too short, too shoddy, and leaves a bad impression. There are much better tests online for free!
